How to get the most out of every hotel stay

We all like to get the most out of our holidays, we work hard to get the best deals for flights accomodation and whatever activities we want to engage in when we are taking valuable time off.

But when everything is booked and you've found yourself abroad, there is still one more thing you can do to get tha extra bit of value out of your hotel stay. When you check into a hotel, ask for an upgrade, what's the worst that can happen?

They might say no but often hotels want to provide whatever value they can. You might end up in an upgraded suite, luxuriating in a great spa bath and having a fabulous time. Just be straight out with it and ask "I'm booked in a standard room is there a better room available today or is the hotel full?"

So make the most of your holidays and ask for an upgrade.
