Meet the Team

Located in the heart of Wellington, Capital Travel is conveniently located for the business traveller, however a large portion of our clients are based in other cities around New Zealand and overseas. 

We work in an open plan office so that everyone knows what is going on, and in the absence of your personal consultant there is always someone to help. Our offices are light, airy and welcoming so when you come into visit us or pick up your tickets, you will never be faced with a dark and pokey waiting room and out of date magazines! 

I’ve been in the travel industry for 40 years (way too long some would say!) and in that time I’ve enjoyed travelling all over the world. 

 

While juggling the challenges that come with running a successful travel company, I enjoy looking after a number of high-profile and loyal clientele and helping to put together all kinds of itineraries to suit their requirements. 

 

My favourite holiday destination?  Anywhere that involves a cruise ship!

FIONA YAXLEY

I have been in the Travel Industry since 1991. 

 

During this time I have travelled extensively and can offer first-hand knowledge of many destinations.   Some of my favourite travel experiences have been frequent trips to Las Vegas and Fiji and I’ve recently discovered the joys of cruising. 

 

I am an avid Hurricanes fan, and in my down time (and on flights) I enjoy reading a good mystery.

Senior Consultant

ROBYN WRIGHT

I have been working in the travel industry for over 30 years and bring an extensive travel knowledge to my role as director and senior consulting whiz at Capital Travel. 

 

My client base is wide and varied including many well-known names.  I’ve travelled to many places around the world and like to keep up with current travel trends that are constantly evolving, particularly cruising. 

 

In my personal time (what little I have), I enjoy running and spending time with my grandchildren.

LEW CAMPBELL

I’ve been in the travel industry for over 40 years including working for ANZ Bank Travel, Air New Zealand and the Parliament Travel Office, and of course, Capital Travel.

 

 I have travelled to many destinations worldwide and enjoy sharing my personal experiences to give advice to clients and friends. 

 

My role at Capital Travel is mainly administrative and I’m known as the brochure guru in the office.
